MP Introduces Animal Transport bill.
The Canadian Coalition for Farm Animals has been working with MP Alexandra Mendes to introduce a private member's bill in the House of Commons to improve conditions for farm animals during transport. The bill was introduced in the House on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, following a press conference on Parliament Hill. The resulting publicity includes:
